Horse Show, April 6th hosted by Whitwell Saddle Club, 15201 Hwy 28, Whitwell at 5 p.m. Themed as “Tough Enough to Wear Pink!”, an adult and youth contestant will win Best Dressed in pink. Cost is $5 to enter the horse show as a contestant and $3 admission for spectators, 6 and under are free

WHS Baseball and WHS Tiger Threads Clothing Drive, WHS Baseball Field, Monday, April 8th, 5 p.m. Free admission to the game with a donated item/items of gently used or new clothing: Whitwell Tigers hoodies, men’s/women’s belts, leggings, deodorant, hairbrushes, cologne/perfume, New men’s/women’s undergarments.
Marion County 4-H Performing Arts presents Irving Berlin’s Annie Get Your Gun, April 18th through April 20th at Jasper Elementary School. There will be four performances: April 18th, 7 p.m., April 19th, 7 p.m., April 20th, 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. For ticket information please contact the extension office.
The National Cornbread Festival will be held Saturday & Sunday, April 27th & 28th in downtown South Pittsburg. $10 per day admission at the gate. Pre-School children, free. The carnival starts on Tuesday, April 23rd with wristbands Tuesday - Thursday. Friday and Saturday will be tickets only for the carnival. Street dance Friday, April 26th.
