There will be an Open House at Orena Humphreys Public Library in Whitwell from 4 - 6 p.m. sponsored by Friends of Marion County TN Libraries. All are welcome to join us. If you would like to become a member, annual dues are $5.00 for single, $10.00 for family and $100 lifetime.
Saturday, January 27th at the Chattanooga Audubon Society, 8 a.m. $5 for members of the Chattanooga Audubon Society and $10 for non-members. All fees go toward preserving and conserving natural resources. This event is for those new to birding in order to learn, discover and appreciate local species in their natural habitat. Distinguished Young Women of Marion County 2025 will take place on Friday, March 15th, 5 p.m. at the Princess Theater, 215 S. Cedar Ave, South Pittsburg. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. and tickets are $10 ages 10+ and sold at the door. Seats are first come first served.

Horse Show, April 6th hosted by Whitwell Saddle Club, 15201 Hwy 28, Whitwell at 5 p.m. Themed as “Tough Enough to Wear Pink!”, an adult and youth contestant will win Best Dressed in pink. Cost is $5 to enter the horse show as a contestant and $3 admission for spectators, 6 and under are free
