Faye Lofty, 95

Faye Lofty, 95 of Kimball went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 25.

Faye was a member of Kimball Church of Christ. She was a lifelong resident of Marion County and a graduate of MCHS. She was married to Bobby G. Lofty for 60 years until his death on April 9, 2010. She was a wonderful homemaker, cook, seamstress, and a loving wife and mother.

Faye was preceded in death by her father Reese Boyd, her mother Bessie Brown Boyd, her sisters Iva Stewart, Mildred Crouch, Doris Hardaway and Ginny Lyons, as well as her brothers Clyde Boyd, Paul Boyd and Vernon Boyd.

Faye is survived by her children Steve (Vicki) Lofty of Jasper, Jim (Jackie) Lofty of Kimball, John (Jody) Lofty of Kimball and Sue (Scott) Hawkins of Jasper. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 31 at 3 p.m. at Kimball Church of Christ, with Scott Hawkins and Billy Watkins officiating.

Visitation will precede the funeral at the church building from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Graveside service will be held following the funeral at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers are Steve Lofty, Mitch Butner, Tyler Butner, John Mark Lofty, David Hawkins and Chris Hawkins.

Honorary Pallbearers are Jim Lofty, Adam Schrock, Nate Woods, Layton Bradford, Kirk Hoschar, Jeremy Wininger, Kevin Young and Travis Whithaus.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Kimball church of Christ and designated for either Kimball Christian Academy or Cuba Missions and sent to PO Box 1029, Jasper, TN 37347.
