
JoAnn Lyda Colvin, 88 of Bridgeport, AL passed away peacefully on Friday, November 28, surrounded by her caring family.
She was an active member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Bridgeport, AL.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband Charles Leonard Colvin Sr., parents, as well as Wesley Lyda and Grace Paris Lyda.
She is survived by her children Charles L. “Len” (Jackie) Colvin Jr. of Bridgeport, Al, LeBron (Stephanie) Colvin of South Pittsburg, daughter Linda Colvin of Bridgeport, Al, grandchildren Jonathan (Andrea) Colvin, Haley Colvin, Dakota (Carrie) Fearn and Gabrielle (Josh) Law, great-grandchildren Huck Colvin, Beckett Law, Silas Colvin, Briggs Law and baby Fearn coming soon, half-sister Fran Atterton, as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services were conducted at Hopewell Baptist Church in Bridgeport, Al on Wednesday, December 3 at 12 p.m. with Pastor Brian Guess and Pastor Ron Namanny who officiated and eulogy conducted by Jonathan Colvin.
Mrs. Colvin was laid to rest with her beloved husband, Charles Leonard Colvin Sr. in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper.
The family received friends for visitation on Tuesday, December 2 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
Pallbearers were Jonathan Colvin, Dakota Fearn, Josh Law, Darron Carter, Brian Stewart and Philip Cooper.
