Kathy Dagnan, 70 of South Pittsburg was called home on Tuesday, June 24. On May 13, 1955, she was born to the late Jesse Reed and Sarah VanAllman Reed in Stevenson, Alabama. She was with her life partner for 27 years Emmitt Robinson. Kathy was the owner of the Country Kitchen for 15 years. She enjoyed sewing, fishing, walking, singing and cooking for her family. Kathy enjoyed spending time with her family and loved them very much.
Kathy is preceded in death by her father Jesse Reed and brothers Mark and Eddie Reed.
Left to cherish her memories are her mother Sarah VanAllman Reed, sons B. J. Dagnan and Rameal (Brittany) Robinson, daughters Erica Cochran and Melissa Wilson (Mark Myers), brother Stanley (Denese) Reed, sister Jewell (Fred) Nunley, grandchildren Tanner Cochran, Katelyn Rector, Rylan Parker Robinson, Tavon McCurdy and Ryder Wilson, many cherished nieces, nephews, as well as other family members and special friends.
Visitation was held on both Thursday, June 26 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Friday, June 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper.
Funeral services were also held on Friday, June 27 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, with Pastor Chris VanAllman who officated.
Kathy was laid to rest on Friday, June 27 at Lynch Cemetery in South Pittsburg (Battlecreek) immediately after the funeral service was held.
Pallbearers were Mark Myers, Fred Nunley, Tanner Cochran, Johnny “Jug” Uselton, Kenneth “Butterhead” Robinson and Frank Fennell.
