Kyoko “Kay” I. Lambert, 93

Kyoko “Kay” I. Lambert, 93 of Jasper was called home on April 23.  On February 10, 1932, she was born to Masa Imori and Taka Suzuki in Japan.  Kay worked for Sather’s Manufacturing Company before she retired.  She loved dogs and eating at Cracker Barrel.  Kay enjoyed coloring, puzzle books, flowers, sewing and knitting.

Kay is preceded in death by her father Masa Imori, mother Taka Suzukil and husband Billy Joe Lambert.

Left to cherish her memories are her son Johnny (Hiromi) Imori, daughter Elaine (Leroy) Garner, grandchildren Christopher (Amy) Smith, Matt Smith, Cody Garner, Leah (Kendall) Ray, great grandchildren Riley Smith, Layne Smith, Kelden Smith, Elijah Ray, Dovie Ray, as well as several other family members and special friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 28 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Tate Funeral home in Jasper.

Funeral services were also held on Monday, April 28 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home, with Pastor Roger Webb who officiated.

Kay was laid to rest on Monday, April 28 at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens immediately after the funeral service was held.

Pallbearers were Riley Smith, Christopher Smith, Matt Smith, Leroy Garner, Kendall Ray and Kelden Smith.
