Jasper Memorial Post 6362 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars has selected the West Valley Volunteer Fire Department as their Citizen of the Week for flying the American Flag at their fire station every day. They keep an American flag on their fire truck, and have their tanker truck emblazoned with the stars and stripes as well. They were presented the VFW’s Certificate of Appreciation for their pride and patriotism, and for keeping the nation’s colors flying. Shown accepting the certificate is the Fire Chief William Adams.
