Total Nutrition vitamins recalled due to Salmonella contamination

Total Nutrition Inc., a major provider of nutritional supplements and vitamins, has recalled two of its vitamin products across major retailers due to potential Salmonella contamination.
The recall was officially put into effect by the company for two of its products: TNVitamins Ultra Potent Complete Green Superfood and Doctor’s Pride Complete Green Superfood Ultra Potent Moringa Capsules. Both products have been recalled from storefronts such as Walmart, Amazon, Target, eBay, and TikTok. The FDA suspects the cause of the contamination stems from imported moringa leaf powder, a key ingredient in both products. The CDC has reported 119 cases of Salmonella illnesses across over 30 states, all of which are linked to moringa leaf-based supplements. Zero deaths have occurred, but 32 of the 119 victims were left hospitalized following the consumption of contaminated products.
Those who have recently purchased either product, including the following lot numbers and expiration dates, are urged to dispose of them immediately, and refunds can be requested at customerservice@tnvitamins.com:
