Haletown Volunteer Fire responds to brush fire at Hale’s Bar Road
F iremen from the Haletown Volunteer Fire Department (HVFD) responded to a brush fire, which expanded and posed a major threat to a home located on Hale’s Bar Road.


MCHS Interact’s Autism Awareness Color Run
T he MCHS Interact Club recently hosted its Autism Awareness 3K Color Run/Walk on Sunday, April 19 at Marion County High School in Jasper. The event, starting at 2 p.m., aimed to unite students, families, and community members for an afternoon filled with meaning and enjoyment. With a focus on promoting awareness and acceptance of individuals with autism, the run highlighted the importance of inclusion while encouraging community involvement.
