Marion Animal Resource Connection (MARC) is the closest animal shelter for the county, and they strive every day to get these animals a loving and safe home. Nugget is one of these said pups. He is an adorable and easygoing 3-year-old boy. He is a lab/boxer mix and is roughly 60 pounds. He can be a little shy at first, but aren’t we all? Once that shyness wears off and he warms up, his golden personality shines through. 

According to members of MARC, toys are his go-to. He can be found proudly strutting with his stuffie toys and eager to show them off. Not only that, but he is a well-behaved and well-mannered boy. He is fully leash trained, crate trained, and house trained—the complete package. Not to mention he does exceptionally well with other dogs and even cats.

With all that being said he has been waiting for his perfect people for a long 2 years. He is ready for his chance. Every fur baby deserves their own forever home. Nugget is ready to meet his any day now; maybe you could be his?
