Kaiden Billingsley is widely known around Whitwell Middle School as a great student, classmate, and all-around good kid. He has earned straight A’s throughout his schooling, proving he is a true student-athlete. When he isn’t at school, he is usually putting in hours of work, whether it’s basketball or baseball. During his basketball career at Whitwell, he accomplished things no other player ever has.

Billingsley achieved feats that may never be matched by another Whitwell player. A three-year starter, he became the winningest player in school history. He is the only player at Whitwell to win SVC Tournament MVP. He was also named to the All-Tournament Team and All-Conference Team. Billingsley finished his career with 700 points, averaging 15.5 points per game. His impact was so significant that Tigers head coach Kyle Holloway says no future player will wear No. 10.

“He has grown in so many ways. He finished his middle school career as the winningest player in school history, 636 points and averaged 15.5 per game over three years. I’m going to be a little extra here but nobody will ever wear 10 again because he earned that. He is special! I love that kid so much and will miss coaching him every day,” Holloway said.

Now, Billingsley will look to carry that same success into high school next year. He is a special talent whose confidence continues to grow every day. In a historic season for the Tigers, Billingsley finished at the top of nearly every statistical category in the Whitwell Middle School record books.
