In the wake of recent interior renovations, AJ’s Kitchen, formerly AJ’s Deli, has reopened its doors to customers within the Jasper community.
AJ’s Kitchen first opened in 2024, hosting an official ribbon cutting in October the same year. Since then, the family owned restaurant has grown into a community favorite, opening a secondary location in Marion County via AJ’s Catering in nearby Sequatchie. Both facilities specialize in homemade eateries and fresh deli products, including serving breakfast dishes and sandwiches.
Andy Hatziloudes, owner of AJ’s, explained the recent remodels were done to provide more dining space for customers. He also explained the business name was rebranded to AJ’s Kitchen to provide a broader name for what the business provides to customers.
“We’re still the same place pretty much and we serve the same food,” said Hatziloudes.
Some of the renovations that took place included repainting the interior walls and redoing the flooring, and providing a new look alongside the businesses’ rebranding. Additionally, new food items have also been added to their menu, including new burgers and pizza, all coming together to establish an expansive new take with the community rooted restaurant.
