Baby in Bloom 4D Ultrasound + Boutique, situated at 73 College St. in Monteagle, has recently celebrated its establishment in the community with a ribbon cutting, hosted by the Marion County Chamber of Commerce.
Brittany Rollins of Monteagle serves as the business’s owner, having gained proper training and licensing with utilizing ultrasound in 2013. Rollins explained after taking time to decide which business route to venture, she decided on providing ultrasound services within the community, as the town lacked a proper facility providing ultrasound services to local residents.
“I wanted to bring this type of business close to home to where people are not having to travel an hour or two hours to get this type of service,” said Rollins.
Ultrasound services can be provided at Baby in Bloom for women six weeks pregnant to near the due date of giving birth. In addition to ultrasound services, Baby in Bloom hosts a boutique shop housing various baby items and clothing for parents to purchase.
Rollins stated her passion to helping parents and their children is what motivated her to opening Baby in Bloom, ensuring that every parent and their children visiting the facility are satisfied with their needs.
“I really love kids and I love seeing the bond between parents and babies,” said Rollins. “I love being able to bring that to people that are also further outside the family.”
Baby in Bloom is open every week on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The business is open through appointment only, contact information being 931-409-6698.
