Marion County’s boys and girls basketball teams fell to Dade County on the road last Friday night.
The Warriors boys kept things close early, taking a 35-32 lead into halftime. Dade County responded in the second half, outscoring Marion County 23-16 in the third quarter and 21-15 in the fourth to pull away for a 76-66 win. The Warriors dropped to 2-3 on the season.
The Lady Warriors suffered their fourth loss of the year, falling 68-34 to Dade County to move to 1-4.
Both Marion County basketball teams will be back on the road Thursday to face Chattanooga Christian.
