Agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) are currently investigating the death of a Marion County resident in New Hope.
The death was reported on Thursday, Nov. 21 in a request sent by Tennessee’s 12th Judicial Drug Task Force, one of the state’s main task forces encompassing the 12th District. The request was made by the task force’s court attorney Cortney Lynch.
According to TBI, the investigation is currently in its early stages and is still ongoing. In a Facebook post since removed, the New Hope Police Department publicly warned all residents in the community to remain clear of the area until further notice. The incident took place on Mail Loop Road.
