“Where’s Honey?”, the newest release from Jasper resident and author Michelle De La Mora, has recently hit online and physical store shelves for families to enjoy.

De La Mora is known for her Green Aisle book series, a collection of cookbooks containing various recipes that promote clean eating and crafting healthy dishes while at home. She is also known for her work as a health advocate, being certified in integrative health coaching and brain health outside the world of writing. Her work has been featured in several media outlets and publications, such as on-air with Good Day Sacramento, as well as the Manteca Bulletin from Manteca, California.

De La Mora’s latest release, “Where’s Honey?”, is an illustrative novel that tells the story of Arthur and his grandmother, Honey, who after moving away finds ways to always remain connected despite their long distance apart from one another. Her book incorporates the themes of love and staying connected, while also on the ideas of separation and missing someone you love. The story was inspired by her grandson, Arthur, who she spent much of her time with before relocating from California to the Volunteer State. However, despite being far apart, both Michelle and Arthur continue to keep in touch, with their relationship serving as the catalyst of the story’s main themes.

“Where’s Honey?” is now available to purchase at all bookstores and retailers, including Amazon and Barnes & Noble. A book signing will also take place at the Carolyn Stewart Public Library on Saturday, September 6 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. for those looking to meet and receive an autograph from De La Mora in person.
