This postcard shows what South Pittsburg’s First National Bank looked like in 1906. The people, from left to right, are Tom Mix, company officer for the old Dixie Portland Cement Company; Miss Irene McRae, assistant Cashier; T. G. Garrett, president; A. A. Cook, cashier; and Richard Hardy, at that time, president of the cement company. One of the gentlemen on the far right is R. H. Fitz-Gerald. The bank was constructed in 1887 and is currently serving as South Pittsburg’s city hall.
