Marion County’s Fire Rehab Services recently received a donated ambulance from Hamilton County Emergency Services in Chattanooga.

The donation was made in May, with Hamilton County EMS providing the vehicle for use during on-scene emergency rehab support while first responders are actively working to protect and save lives. Decals for the unit were supplied and applied by Joey Blevins of Marion County.

Fire Rehab Services expressed their sincere appreciation to Hamilton County EMS, especially Lt. Mike Hyde, as well as Hamilton County Mayor Weston Wamp and the county’s commissioners, for their ongoing support of first responders in Marion County.

Hamilton County EMS shared that they look forward to seeing one of their former vehicles put to good use in a neighboring community, continuing to serve first responders in a new role.
