Willard A. Taylor, 73, of Jasper, was called home on Saturday, October 26. He was born to the late Willard Leroy Taylor, Jr. and Electa Billingsley Taylor on April 26, 1951. Willard worked in the Maintenance Department for Wal-Mart for 35 years. He enjoyed watching TV, especially the Tennessee Vols, fishing and loved spending time with his family.
Willard is preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Michelle (Stacey Daniel) Taylor, Heather Seabolt, Melanie Nicole (Terry) Slatton; brother, Carl (Shelby) Taylor; sister, Joyce (Johnny) Hibbs; grandchildren, Paige (Brandon) Carol, Dustin King, J. J. Rollins, Skyler (Mason Blevins) Dalton, William Dalton; niece, Kimberly Guess; nephew, T. J. Hargis; several other family members and special friends.
Visitation is Tuesday, October 29, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, October 30, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper.
Funeral services are on Wednesday, October 30, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper with Pastor Chris Turner, Pastor Steve Patterson and Pastor Robert Claudill officiating.
Willard will be laid to rest on Wednesday, October 30, at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper immediately following the funeral service.
The pallbearers are Stacey Daniels, T. J. Hargis, Mason Blevins, Terry Slatton, William Dalton and Nick Taylor.
