As many have noticed and questions circulate surrounding the construction and activity in the county, there are several things “going up” in Marion.
The following information is preliminary and ample attempts have been made to acquire full and accurate information.
A T-Mobile store will be going in next to Advance Financial in Kimball. We at the Tribune have reached out to several sources including T-Mobile to find a projected opening date with no success.
PLayne S.A.S.S. and Spill Coffee Co. posted to their Facebook page a new location on Third Street just behind Stevarino’s. According to the post Spill will have a drive thru option. Additionally, PLayne S.A.S.S., a soup and sandwich shop, will offer dine in and outside seating options tentatively set to open in February 2024.
Two sites on Cedar Avenue are slated as brand-new Mexican restaurants. Currently under construction next to the Opera House, sources say the restaurant will be named, ‘Chencho’s Cocina y Cantina.’ The other, Michoacan & Jalisco, is located where the old El Toril resided. We at the Tribune were unable to confirm a projected opening date on either of them but will continue to closely follow updates.
