The Marion County football teams swept their openers this past Friday night as football season finally returned. The Marion County Warriors crushed the East Ridge Pioneers 41-12, The Whitwell Tigers went on the road and beat the Huntland Hornets 20-6 and the South Pittsburg Pirates pillaged Oliver Springs 56-0.
