Violet June Callaway, 60, of Dunlap, Tennessee was called home on December 22. On May 21, 1964, she was born to the late John Lee Hill and Ollie Mae Kilgore Hill. Violet was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She enjoyed washing her car and being with her family. Violet was always more concerned about others than she was about herself.
Violet is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Johnny Hill, Leroy Hill, and Clifford Hill.
Left to cherish her memories are her son, Jeff Callaway; daughter, Amanda (Son-in-law, Billy Vinson) Perry; brothers, Jerry Hill, Benny Hill, Ricky Hill; sisters, Linda Reed, Barbara Kilgore; grandchildren, Brittany (Mason) Shelton, Megan Perry, McKenna Perry, and other grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.
The family will hold a visitation on Thursday, December 26, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and on Friday, December 27, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper.
Funeral services will be on Friday, December 27, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home with Pastor David Berry officiating.
Burial will be on Friday, December 27 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
The Pallbearers are Steve Hill, Jason Morgan, Allen Hill, Billy Vinson, Tyler Hill, and Mikie Kilgore.
