Teresa “Teri” Freeman, 65

Teresa “Teri” Freeman, 65, of Jasper was called home on Saturday, December 16. She was born in Bridgeport, Alabama on May 15, 1958, to the late Samuel Russell Smith and Martha Norine Murray McCall. She was married to Mr. Buddy Freeman. Teresa was a Materials Technician for Parkridge West (Grandview) Hospital. She enjoyed working with her flowers, riding motorcycles, taking care of her pets, the beach, and traveling. Teresa loved taking care of “everything”, whether that was her family, pets, or flowers. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Teresa is preceded in death by her father, Samuel Russell Smith; mother, Martha Norine Murray McCall and brother, Brian Keith Smith.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Buddy Freeman; son, Zachary Taylor Merritt; daughters, Cindy (Clinton) Cooksey, Kathryn Teresa (Jonathan) Jarrett, Ashley Nicole (Robie) Chapa, Michele (Freddy) Waldrop; grandchildren, Savannah Cooksey, Carrie Hutchins, Kylie Hutchinson, Stephen Cooksey, Bret Waldrop, Walker Hutchinson, Justin Wilson; great grandchild, Hagen Waldrop along with many special friends.
There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, December 23, at Amazing Grace Chapel, 211 Sherwood Street, Sequatchie, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 5 p.m. with Pastor Steve Patterson officiating.
