Tennessee has spoken

President Donald J. Trump has won this year’s presidential election, taking in 10,770 votes from Marion County against Kamala Harris’ 3,022 total votes. As for the state total, Trump has taken in 1,964,499 votes in total against Harris’s 1,055,039 votes, which adds into the grand national total alongside other states across the country with 72,035,234 votes for Trump and 67,227,727 for Harris. The United States Senate has also re-elected in Marsha Blackburn as senator, with her winning against Gloria Johnson by 10,300 votes in Marion County alone against Johnson’s 3,038 grand total of votes.

As for statewide numbers, Blackburn has earned 1,916,591 votes, taking in 63.8% of the total votes then compared to Johnson, who has taken in only 34.2% of the votes with 1,026,294. For District 4 of the House of Representatives, Scott DeJarlais won the race against Victoria Broderick by a total of 10,360 votes in Marion County, while also with a grand total of 218,980 votes from the state, while Broderick took in 2,793 votes from the county alongside a statewide total of 83,758 votes.

For the Tennessee State Senate, Todd Gardenhire won by a vote of 10,142 from the county, alongside a grand total of 53,117 votes from the district. Missy Crutchfield meanwhile earned 3,305 votes from Marion County, adding along with it the grand total votes of 33,146 district wide. Iris Rudder won the election for Tennessee’s House of Representatives’ District 39, taking in 10,178 votes from the county and a total of 24,625 district wide. Rose Mary Drake took in second against Rudder, garnering 3,133 votes from the county, as well as 7,626 votes from across the district.
