Jasper Memorial Post 6362 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars has selected Tara Gecias of Sequatchie as their Citizen of the Week for flying the American flag at her home daily. Her outstanding citizenship is deserving of the VFW’s Certificate of Appreciation for keeping the stars and stripes waving every day. Her son Dennis Edwards currently serves in the US Army and is stationed in Germany. Her daughter Amber Edwards is a veteran and also served in the US Army for eight years.
