Story hour at Carolyn Stewart Library begins Sept. 6

Posted on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 10:00 am

The Carolyn Stewart Public Library’s Story Hour will start on Wednesday, September 6, at 10 a.m. for all children ages 2 to 5 years of age. Children will learn finger plays, do simple exercises, hear stories and make a craft related to the theme.

The hour-long program teaches children to be creative, imaginative, and socially ready to interact with other children. Their goal is to help children by providing a stimulating program where sounds, letters, shapes, books, songs, and rhymes help make basic connections for early learning. For more information contact Carolyn Ferguson, Children’s Librarian at the Carolyn Stewart Public Library at 423-942-3369.
