Steven Lamar Goins of Jasper, passed away surrounded by family on July 27, 2023. Steven was a plumber for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, classic cars, drawing, Elvis and Tennessee football.
Steven was preceded in death by his mother Juanita Webb, brother, Terry Goins, niece April Rutledge, and nephew Travis Goins. His in-laws, Elbert (Nancy) Smith, Shirley (Sidney) Terry and brother-in-law, Wesley Smith.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 25 years, Anglea Smith Goins, children, Brittney Goins, Brandon Frye, Stevie Goins, Brandon Frye, Stevie Goins. Grandchildren, Xavier Fulfer and Brylie Goins. Siblings, Tina (Fred) Casperson, Joe (Kelly) Goins, Darlene (Steve) Estill and many nieces and nephews.
Services were held July 29 at Jasper Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Fred Casperson, Brandon Frye, Rob Driver, Jason Driver, Chris Casperson, Roby Smith and Honorary pallbearer, Xavier Fulfer. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made towards the burial fund.
Jasper Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
