Steven Drue Ketchersid, 64, of Whitwell, passed away Sunday, August 4, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
He was born on May 28, 1960, son of the late Archie Ketchersid and Thera Smith Ketchersid.
Steven was of the Baptist faith and retired from Ketchersid Trucking Company as a driver for the family business. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed riding his motor cycle and working around family property.
Survivors include his loving mother Thera Smith Ketchersid of Whitwell; son Shanon Ketchersid of Chattanooga; sister, Amy (Tony) Lawson of Ringgold; grandchildren, Destiny Ketchersid, Chance Ketchersid, and Paxton Ketchersid.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
