Sarah Jo Hardin, 65 of Guild went home peacefully to our Lord on Thursday, August 28. On August 17, 1960, she was born to the late William Rackler and Evelyn Smith Rackler in Bridgeport, Alabama. Sarah and Quentin Keith Hardin were married, and they raised five children together. Sarah enjoyed gospel music, roses and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Sarah will be missed dearly by all the family that she left behind.
Sarah is preceded in death by her father William Rackler, mother Evelyn Smith Rackler, husband Quentin Keith Hardin, brothers James Rackler, Charles Rackler, Bobby Rackler and Chris Rackler, as well as sisters Patricia McDonald, Virginia Mcathy, Fanny Gibson and Ruby Gouger.
Left to cherish her memories are her sons Blake ( Audrey) Rackler and Chris (Stephanie) Rackler, daughters Sarena (Tim) Stockman, Tabitha (Eugene) King and Nancy Gouger, brother Paul Rackler, grandchildren Nevaeh Rackler, Lillian Rackler, Serena Stockman, Christina (Robin) Leverett, Tsion King, Khole Rackler and Nash Rackler, several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.
Visitation was hosted on Tuesday, September 2 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper.
A memorial service was also hosted on Tuesday, September 2 at 6 p.m. at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, with Pastor Josh Myers who officiated.
