He was born in Cleveland to Reverend Samuel “Sam” and Debbie Hooker. He served as the Music Worship Leader at Philippi Baptist Church in Cleveland from 2006 to present. He was employed at Astec Industries, Inc. for 24 years.

Some of those included Sunday school, AWANA, and VBS. He also taught on numerous occasions at the men’s breakfast or during a given service. His ministry was grounded in his faith while focusing on the youth and young adults of Philippi Baptist. He enjoyed actively participating in the Cleveland Pops Band and was always eager to help serve others.
