Reva Joyce Billingsley, 85

Reva Joyce Billingsley, 85, of Whitwell, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 20. On October 3, 1939, she was born to the late Allen Dover and Nancy Evans Dover. Joyce was married to the late W. C. Billingsley and was a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church. Before retiring, she worked for Memorial Hospital as a Lab Technician. Joyce had a pure, sweet heart and would help anyone she could. She loved riding around in her car, spending time with her family, and having family get togethers.  Joyce loved her little dog Allie, and enjoyed clogging, gardening, as well as canning.

Joyce is preceded in death by parents; husband; and brother, Kenneth Dover.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Steve (Melody) Rheal, Odis (Michelle) Rheal; daughter, Renee Stamey; sister, Phyllis Miller; grandchildren, Katie Stamey, Joshua Rheal, William Rheal, Christopher Rheal, Joseph Greene, Laura Rheal, Jenny Rheal, Summer, Misty and Ben Johnson; several great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.

The family will hold visitation on Wednesday, January 22, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Thursday, January 23, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper.

Funeral services are on Thursday, January 23 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home in Jasper with Pastor David Berry officiating. Joyce will be laid to rest on Thursday, January 23, at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper immediately following the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Joshua Rheal, William Rheal, Christopher Rheal, Joseph Greene, Stacy Teeters, and Hunter Teeters.
