Reggie Mosley of Jasper Middle School has recently been named head coach of the school’s Warriors baseball team.
Mosley has been a sports coach for seven years in the education system, including five years for Jasper Middle. He first served as assistant coach for the school’s baseball program for three years, as well as two years for boys basketball. His prime motivation into becoming a coach stems from wanting to give back to the community that he and his family call home. By being named head coach, he’s looking ahead to establishing a hard working team out on the field, in addition to ensuring a successful and fun season for everyone involved.
“We’re going to be the hardest working team on the field and continue the success of what we’ve built over the last three seasons,” said Mosley.
According to JMS’ Facebook Page, Mosley publicly stated his gratitude for being named head coach, noting on his experience in playing basketball, football, and baseball during his time as a student in Marion County High School. He also acknowledged his excitement for the opportunity to be coaching this season’s players, in addition to what lies ahead for this year’s ensemble team.
“I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity and excited for what’s ahead this season,” said Mosley in the post.
