Randall Scott Pipkin, 63, of Whitwell was called home on Friday, March 28. On September 18, 1961, he was born to Betty Hale in San Diego, California. He was a veteran who had served in the United States Navy. Randall was a truck driver and was married to Norma White Pipkin. He loved riding horses, spending time with his dog, Maggie and fishing. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his mom and nephews. He loved working with the Sequatchie Volunteer Fire Department for several years. He was very proud of his military time in the Navy as a submariner.
Randall is preceded in death by his grandfather and grandmother Robert E. Lee Hale and Slyvia Magdalene Hale and brother, Dennis Pipkin.
Left to cherish his memories are his mother Betty Hale, wife Norma White Pipkin, father and mother-in-law Virgil and Linda White, stepsons Aaron (Heather) Bolton, Jake (Tabitha) Bolton, brothers J. T. Pipkin, Rod Pipkin, Gary Allen, sisters Tina Marks, Sandra (Junior) Purvis, sister-in-law Sheila Gholston, nephews Kevin Cain, Daniel Sells, several other nieces, nephews, as well as other family members and special friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5 at the Sequatchie Volunteer Fire Hall from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 5 at 2 p.m. at the Sequatchie Volunteer Fire Hall with Pastor Tony Tuders officiating.
