As part of National EMS Week, Ralyn Tuders of Marion County is recognized for her work as a communication specialist and EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) for American Medical Response (AMR).
Tuders, first beginning her career as an EMT, was also recognized for her work during National Public Safety Telecommunications Week. Under a post made through Facebook by AMR, Tuders was credited for her hard work and dedication while out on the field, with her today operating out of the Chattanooga area as a communication specialist for AMR.
On the same post made back in April on the 18, Tuders noted advise she felt vital for those looking into the telecommunications field, citing the importance of prioritizing multitasking, safety and of the ability to communicate clearly when keeping in touch with both dispatch and citizens in need. Additionally, she also noted how working within EMS not only requires a great amount of dedication, but also a great drive into helping those in need.
“Working in EMS is not just a career for me; it is a calling that requires your dedication, empathy, and a relentless drive to provide the best possible care to those in need,” quoted Tuders.
AMR additionally credited Ralyn for tackling critical situations, such as facilitating the transfer of a patient upon the emergency flight crew being unable to land upon arrival. Thus leaving Tuders to quickly keep in touch with additional dispatch to ensure the patient’s well-being without further delays. They also added on how she maintained constant communication with additional emergency to ensure on the patient’s proper care and well-being during the given situation. A top priority whilst out on the field providing medical assistance during an emergency.

National EMS Week is a celebratory week dedicated to those serving within the medical field as EMS professionals, as well as on raising awareness on the vitality of public safety and EMS services. An importance which Tuders continues to embody each day whilst operating in Chattanooga as a communications specialist for AMR.
