Katherine Adair, a resident of Whitwell, came forward to the Board of Mayor & Commissioners to discuss concerns of stalking and carding committed by local police.

During the meeting, Adair explained how her 19 year old son has been both stalked and ID’d by local police on two separate occasions for seemingly no reason. She noted how each day, her son walks to every destination he goes, especially to work and when coming home. However, she claimed that police personnel nonetheless have committed both actions twice against her son, leaving her confused and concerned as to why.

Vice Mayor Mike Dillon stated how he and the board have not known as to why personnel showed interest towards her son, and have assured Adair that they will look into the matter moving forward.
