Paula Diane Mosier (Johnson), 89, born April 2, 1935, passed away from COVID related illness on September 16 at Fairmont Care in Chicago, Illinois.
Paula “Diane” was born to Eva Ruby Morrison and Carl Andor Johnson in Chicago, Illinois. Diane met and married the love of her life Hugh Hoyt Mosier “Brownie” in December of 1952, and they were happily married until his premature passing in March of 1988. Diane never remarried.
Diane was predeceased by her parents. Survivors include daughter, Debbie Mosier, sons, Larry (Connie) Mosier and Terry Mosier; Grandchildren Jessica Wenzelburger, Brent Mosier, Michael Grant and Ashley (Grant) Keeley; Great grandchildren, Lucy and Maxwell Wenzelburger and Leighton, Blake and Patrick Keeley. Diane also had multiple cousins, nieces, nephews and several loving in-laws.
Diane was an excellent home maker, cook and gardener. She loved music, particularly Elvis, Rod Stewart, Abba and the Bee Gees. She taught her children to “dance till you drop” at an early age. Diane also loved attending floral design classes and became quite a designer.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 25, at 1:30 p.m. at the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home, 21 East Fifth Street in Jasper with Pastor Roger Webb officiating.
Interment will follow at Whitwell Memorial Cemetery, in Whitwell, where she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 25, from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. at the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home prior to the funeral service in the chapel.
Arrangements are entrusted to Rogers Funeral Home Jasper Chapel, 21 East Fifth Street, Jasper.
