Paul David Rector, 28 of South Pittsburg was called home on Wednesday, June 4. On December 3, 1996 he was born to Jimmy Bee Rector and Julie Backus. Paul was a self-employed Caregiver and a good-hearted person. He loved working on cars. Paul was always there for his dad and loved spending time with his son and family.
Left to cherish his memories are his father Jimmy Bee Rector, mother Julie Backus, son Jesse Bee Rector, grandparents Ann & Calvin Mathis, grandmother Sherry Lyons, brother Travis Rector, sister Amy (Jeremy) Brown, several aunts and uncles, niece Kayleigh Rector, nephews Jayden Brown and Carter Smith, as well as several other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 8 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper.
A graveside service was also held on Sunday, June 8 at 2 p.m. at New Hope Cemetery in New Hope, with Pastor Rodney McGill who officiated.
Pallbearers were Jacob Sims, Roy Campbell, Shaun Tate, Victor Sanchez, Alex Sanchez and Jeremy Brown.
