Patricia Anne (Pat) Bruns McLain, 80, of South Pittsburg passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023, with her family by her side.
She was born March 17, 1943, to the late Hank and Nora Bruns in “Philly” Pennsylvania. She attended Notre Dame High School in Chester, PA. She made her way to Tennessee and worked as a Radiological Technologist for over 40 years at South Pittsburg Hospital and then Grandview Medical Center (Parkridge West). She attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in South Pittsburg for over 60 years.
She is survived by her son, Douglass McLain Jr, (Sharon) and her daughter Kelli McLain Nelson, (Neal). Her grandchildren Kalyn McLain Billings, (Aaron), Rebecca Henderson, (Dustin), Blake Nelson, Jenna Vickery, (Jacob), Brett Nelson, Briley Nelson, Daniel Brock, and her cherished greatgrandchildren and many special friends.
A visitation will be held at Roger’s Funeral Home in South Pittsburg Tennessee on Sunday, September 17, 2023 from 12:00 (noon) to 3:00 p.m. (CDT).
A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. (CDT) in Kimball, TN, at Cumberland View Cemetery.
The Family wishes to thank Parkridge Main Hospital staff for going above and beyond in the care of our mom, as well as our family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the American Kidney Foundation, or South Pittsburg Elementary School on her behalf.
The pallbearers will be Blake Nelson, Brett Nelson, Daniel Brock, Aaron Billings, Dustin Henderson & Neal Nelson.
Honorary Pallbearers are Tycen Henderson, and Thatcher Henderson.
