Fall Activities around the area within a 2-hour drive:

Nov. 24th: Reindeer on the Riverfront & Lighted Boat Parade, Ross’s Landing, Chattanooga, 4p – 8p (EST) free admission, Santa on site for free pictures, hot cocoa bar, mini train rides, fire pits, face painting and balloon animals. 4p – see live reindeer, 4:30p – pictures with Santa, 7p – lighted boat parade, 8p fireworks.

Nov. 25th: Raulston Wood & Garden Holiday Fair: 1138 Old Dixie Hwy, South Pittsburg. 10a (CST), Kick off the holiday season supporting your local friends and neighbors’ arts and crafts, music, food etc.

Nov. 25th: 2nd Annual Jingle & Mingle Christmas Market, American Legion Hall, 300 Elm Ave, South Pittsburg. 10a-3p (CST), small business Saturday. Come shop with incredible vendors.

Nov. 25th: Christmas in Fort O! Stable 41 Pavilion, 214 1st St, Fort Oglethorpe, GA. 6p – 9p (EST), Tree lighting, parade, food, shopping, music, winter skating and visit with Santa.

Nov 25th: 4th Annual Whoville, Chatsworth City Park, 400 N 2nd Ave, Chatsworth, GA 11a-6p (EST) Santa will be taking pictures from 1p-4p and the Grinch from 12p-5p. Food and retail vendors for all your Christmas needs. $1 admission for ages 10+.

Nov. 28th – 30th: SVEC Christmas Auction, 512 S. Cedar Ave, South Pittsburg. An in-person auction will be at the South Pittsburg office from Tues. 11/28 at 11a to Thurs. 11/30 at 2p. An online auction will be held with select items only, stay tuned to the SVEC Facebook page for more information. Donations for the auction will be accepted through Nov. 15th. Nov. 30th: The Origin of Marion County: Part Three, Lecture Series, Jasper Elementary School, 495 Warrior Dr, Jasper, 5p (CST). Featuring Linda Moss Mines, this is a continuation of her first two lectures on this topic and will have new information and details. Attendance at the other two lectures is not required to be able to enjoy this one. Everyone is invited to attend. Presented by the Jasper Regional History Museum.

Nov. 30th – Dec 2nd: Blue Cross Bowl, TN High School Football Championships, Finley Stadium, Chattanooga. Parking is $15 per day, cash only per the TSSAA website.
