Nathan “Nate” Lee LaPlume, 50, of Trenton, Georgia was called home on Sunday, January 28.
On July 3, 1973, he was born to Barry LaPlume and Linda Mahan LaPlume. Nate was a guitarist and liked music, playing guitar and black and white photography. He enjoyed art and was a really good artist. Nate enjoyed being outdoors and going for hikes with his dog, Ace.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Katherine “Kay” LaPlume, John and Anita Mahan and aunt, Joyce Blanchard. Left to cherish his memories are his father, Barry LaPlume; mother, Linda Mahan LaPlume; sister, Rebecca LaPlume (Andrew Barker) in Australia; uncle, Jack (Joanne) Mahan; aunt, Jan Klaus; three nieces, Aria, Soraya, Mahalia LaPlume-Barker along with several cousins.
There will be a memorial service on Thursday, February 1, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (noon to 2 p.m. ET). Burial will be on Thursday, February 1, at the State Line Cemetery, in South Pittsburg, immediately following the memorial service.
