Monteagle Elementary School has been awarded a grant from the South Cumberland Community Fund, amounting to $3,123.

The grant is intended to launch an archery program during the upcoming spring semester. The initiative, spearheaded by McKenzie Ragan, the Physical Education teacher, and Brandee Burns, the school librarian, aims to integrate the archery program into the regular physical education curriculum. The ultimate goal is to cultivate sufficient interest to expand the program into an after-school activity.
