The MCHS Pride of the Valley Marching Band performed in the Tree City Marching Festival at Warren County High School on September 23rd and received an overall “Superior” rating, with an “Excellent” rating for Drum Major, Percussion and Auxiliary performances.
The band also performed in the Sequatchie Valley Band Festival at Sequatchie County High School earlier this month, September 16th, where they received an overall “Excellent” rating, with a “Superior” rating for Drum Major and “Excellent” for Percussion and Auxiliary.
The Pride of the Valley’s next competition will be in Scottsboro, AL, on October 21st.
This year’s theme is “Larger Than Life” featuring boy band songs the Jonas Brothers, BTS, Backstreet Boys and NSYNC.
