The Marion County Commission was presented with a request to review and approve a contract with Rutherford County for juvenile detention services. A copy of the contract was provided to the board, outlining the agreement to allow Marion County’s juvenile court to send juvenile defendants to the Rutherford County detention facility, a contract that has been utilized in previous years. After reviewing the details, the board unanimously approved the contract.
