Mary Murray, 86, of South Pittsburg, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, at home surrounded by her daughters.
She was a member of Richard City First Baptist Church. She was head housekeeper at the Kimball Motor Lodge in Kimball, for 6 years. Her most proud accomplishment can be seen in her children whom she raised to be loving and caring individuals and followers of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Isam and Limmie Jane Braden; husband, Clarence Murray; brother, John Abe Braden; sister, Ruthie Pace Murray and her beloved son, Steve Murray.
She is survived by the love of her life, Johnny Denney; four daughters, Debbie (Lonnie) Cole of, Stevenson, AL; Cathy Booth of Comer, GA; Della (Patrick) Moats, of South Pittsburg; Tammy (Ron) Pettit of, Manchester, TN; granddaughter, Christie (Aaron) Sellers and great grandson, Brady Sellers of Kings Mountain, NC; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Thank you to Adoration Home Health & Hospice for the outstanding care and love given to her and the family. A very special thanks to Jim Rogers for his love and generosity over the years.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 9, at 2 p.m. in the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Conway officiating. Interment will be at Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball, Tennessee. There will be no procession going to the cemetery after the chapel service.
Visitation will be on Sunday, March 9, from Noon to 2 p.m. prior to the funeral service in the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Mark Dover, Raymond Durham, Jerry Bill Case, Larry Jones, Chris Nelson, Eddie Berryhill, Billy Berryhill and Paul Payne.
