A visit to the Marion County Veterans Memorial Park in Whitwell is one way to salute local veterans this Saturday. Another is to attend the annual VFW Veterans Day Parade in Jasper on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 1 p.m. Veterans are welcome to march in the parade and can call 423-309-0690 for a ride. Those wishing to register to be in the parade may call the same number. There will be prizes for most patriotic golf cart/ATV.
