
Mamie Roberts, 79 of Jasper was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, October 20. On October 20, 1946, she was born to Oscar Van Crowe and Willie Clyde Myers Crowe in Jasper. She was married to Adam C. Roberts for 44 years until his death. Mamie enjoyed working in the Dietary Department at Signature Health. She loved her dog Spanky, gardens, flowers, and doing yard work. More importantly she loved her children and grandchildren, as well as spending time with them.
Mamie is preceded in death by her father Oscar Crowe, mother Willie Clyde Myers, husband Adam C. Roberts, son Jason Roberts, daughter Susie Roberts McClain, daughter-in-law, Brittany Roberts, and sisters Margaret Tuders and Betty Ratliff.
Left to cherish her memories are her sons Adam (Janet) Roberts and Brad Roberts, brother Jim (Donnis) Crowe, sisters Geraldine Campbell and Patsy Crowe, grandchildren Felicia (Shane) King, Zach (Tawnee) Roberts and Vanessa (Tyler) Griffin, great grandchildren Huntlee Roberts, Natalie King and Ace King, several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.
Visitation was on Wednesday, October 22 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Thursday, October 23 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper.
Funeral services were also on Thursday, October 23 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home, with Pastor Roger Webb who officiated.
Mamie was laid to rest on Thursday, October 23 at Pine Grove Cemetery in Jasper immediately after the funeral services were held.
Pallbearers were Tyler Griffin, Jim Crowe, Jim Poe, Eddie Layne, Scott Neely and Lester Roberts.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Tate Funeral Home, LLC, 950 Mel Dixon Lane, Jasper, Tennessee 37347, 423-942-9500.
