Fade II Medical Spa, located at 115 Woodland Drive in Jasper, has finally been able to hold their ribbon cutting and celebration for appreciation of business within the community.

Being in business at this location since November of 2019, Fade II provides its patients with a variety of facial and skincare treatments, such as Botox administration, dermal filter treatments, chemical peels and microneedling. An additional treatment that they do is platelet-rich plasma, which is where a patient’s blood is submitted into a centrifuge and reused for hair treatment and even the treatment of damaged skin. “So platelet-rich plasma is basically where I take the patient’s blood product and spin it down to get the really platelet rich plasma. And then we can microneedle that into the skin for skin rejuvenation and hair growth,” explained Michelle Story, owner and registered FNP-C (Family Nurse Practitioner-Certified) of Fade II. Story worked as a registered nurse in the ICU for much of her medical career. While studying for a master’s degree in college, she accidentally stumbled upon the studies of Botox, which for her had grown in interest.

“I started working in a weight management clinic and we had discussed maybe offering Botox there and dermal filler treatments and I kind of just decided to go off on my own and do it,” explained Story. As mentioned, the clinic itself opened its doors back in November of 2019, just before the COVID-19 Pandemic had caused countless businesses to close down. For Story, the pandemic affected her establishment right when business first opened and began picking up.

“I think we closed for four weeks, I want to say. So yeah, it definitely had an impact at that time,” stated Story. Due to the pandemic itself, Michelle was unable to have a proper ribbon cutting for five years until recently on November 11. Both before and after the cutting, she has continued to provide various Botox and skincare products and needs for the community. “Since we’ve got more educated on how to deal with the pandemic, I guess people are a lot more comfortable and we still exercise all those precautions as I would have pre pandemic.” The number is (423) 710-4912 for those interested in scheduling an appointment with Michelle and others at Fade II Medical Spa.
