Lawrence “Eddie” Edward Norvell, 80 of Kimball was called home on Thursday, July 31. On October 18, 1944, he was born to the late Morris Norvell and Audrey Durham Norvell in Jasper. Eddie was married to Dorothy Marie Yates Norvell. He was self-employed, owning his own mowing business. Eddie loved to fish, mow and was always outside working. He loved his family very much. Eddie enjoyed his chickens and was well known for raising them. Eddie loved his dog and best friend, Molly, who was his loyal companion.
Eddie is preceded in death by his father Morris Norvell, mother Audrey Durham Norvell, son Lawrence Hardin Norvell and brother Morris Norvell.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife Dorothy Marie Yates Norvell, daughters Amy (Eddie) Bozarth and Shanna Payne, sisters Kathleen (Frank) Coffelt and Colleen Norvell, grandchildren William Bozarth, Julia (Jonathan) May and Matthew Bozarth, as well as great grandchildren Harper May and Avery May.
Visitation was on Friday, August 1 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper.
A graveside service was hosted on Saturday, August 2 at 2 p.m. at Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball, with Pastor 0’Ronnie Case who officiated.
Pallbearers were Eddie Bozarth, Matthew Bozarth, William Bozarth, Jonathan May and Jacob Gott.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Tate Funeral Home, LLC, 950 Mel Dixon Lane, Jasper, Tennessee 37347, 423-942-9500.
