Koko Karol Olson, 71

Koko Karol Olson, 71 of Jasper passed away peacefully at her home on June 10.

Koko was a devoted student of God’s Word, known for her deep faith and remarkable ability to commit much of the Bible to memory. Her life was a reflection of the scriptures she cherished—filled with warmth, kindness and joy. She was known to many for her infectious smile, her welcoming spirit, and a laugh that could brighten any room.

Born with a love for learning, Koko earned a four-year degree from Walla Walla College in Washington State, as well as an associate’s degree from Chattanooga State Community College. Alongside her beloved husband, she co-managed a rental home business in Jasper, where they built not just a livelihood but also lasting relationships within their community.

Koko’s life touched many and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her. Her unwavering faith, compassionate heart, and joyful presence leave behind a beautiful legacy.

She is survived by her husband Billy Campbell, three sons Austin (Cami) Campbell, Alex (Daphne) Campbell and Joshua Campbell, twelve grandchildren, three sisters Debra (Rick) Fahey, Jean (David) Base and Lynae (David) Martin, three brothers J.W. (Hazel) Olson, Rick (Cindy) Olson and David Olson, as well as thirteen nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at the Jasper 7th Day Adventist Church on Sunday, July 13 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a meal following.  All family and friends are welcome.
