Kirk H. and Marchie K. Bubul, of Kimball, departed this life on Monday, July 8, as they had spent the last fifty plus years, they were together. It was their favorite way to be. Their joy in one another, laughter and sincerity will be missed by all of their family, friends and neighbors.
Kirk Hayward Bubul was born on January 12, 1943, to the late John Lawrence and Ruth Hayward Bubul. He was a graduate of Scottsburg High School, Indiana and Northwestern University. Kirk earned graduate degrees from Indiana University. He served as an officer in the United States Air Force and enjoyed a successful career with Mobil Oil. He was a half marathon competitor in his earlier years and a lifelong learner in many subject areas.
The life of Kirk Bubul made a difference to those who knew and loved him. Their dedication to each other will be long remembered. Kirk is preceded in death by his father, John L. Bubul; mother, Ruth Hayward Bubul and wife, Marchie Knittle Bubul.
Left to cherish his memory is his sister, Meredith B. Gregg and special friends.
